Ginetta has today confirmed its renewal of a professional partnership with car care giant Tetrosyl for a further three years. As part of the deal Carlube will be the official oil supplier to the Ginetta race series and TJ Filters will be the new sponsor of the Ginetta Junior Scholarship car, driven by rising star Daniel Harper.
“We are delighted to continue our professional relationship with Tetrosyl. Both companies believe passionately in supporting the UK manufacturing industry and about constantly evolving our products.” said Lawrence Tomlinson, Chairman of Ginetta Cars.
Harper from Hillsborough in Northern Ireland is still just fifteen and he won his place on the Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship grid at the Ginetta Junior Scholarship in October of last year. His inaugural year of sports car competition will see him run as part of the Douglas Motorsport team in his distinctive black and orange liveried car.
Previous Ginetta Junior Winter Series Champion Stuart Middleton will partner Harper at Douglas Motorsport.
“The Ginetta Junior Scholarship is just one of the ways in which we support driver progression and we are sure Daniel and TJ Filters will have a successful season together” continued Tomlinson.
Peter Schofield, Chairman of Tetrosyl, added: “The sponsorship builds on an already strong relationship between Ginetta and Tetrosyl. We were eager to play an active role in the development of young driver talent.”
