A single C8.R is shown on the provisional entry for the 1000-mile FIA WEC race meaning that Corvette Racing will take on two huge endurance races over the weekend once again, with the team running two full-season C8.Rs in the IMSA 12-hour contest and their second WEC round in 2020 the team will campaign the C8.R in the rescheduled WEC six-hour race at CoTA next month.

The Corvette, which will run as #63, gives a boost to the WEC’s ailing GTE Pro entry list, which is down to six full-season factory cars. There are currently, no drivers confirmed for Corvette’s WEC entry.

The car made its global race debut at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
