ROWE Racing have announced they will be returning to the Blancpain GT Series for the third successive season in 2017.
The German squad will again campaign two BMW M6 GT3s and has its sights set firmly on the defence of its title at the iconic Total 24 Hours of Spa at the end of July.
“We are really looking forward to racing in the Blancpain GT Series for the third year in a row.” said Team Principal Hans-Peter Naundorf.
“Our big goal for 2017 is obviously to defend our title at the Total 24 Hours of Spa. It would be a dream come true for us to repeat last year’s win.”
The driver line-ups for the two BMW M6 GT3s for the coming season are yet to be finalised but it is likely that they will contain a number of BMW Motorsport works drivers.
“We are very confident that we will once again be able to field very fast and experienced teams of drivers, just as we did last year.” Naundorf continued.
Final driver lineups will be the subject of further announcements prior to the pre-season test in Paul Ricard on 13th/14th March.
