As already announced, reigning European Le Mans Series GTE Champions Beechdean AMR will be returning to the series in 2017 to defend their title.
The semi-factory team will once again field a Vantage GTE, this year however it will feature the updated aero that was designed for the 2016 GTE Pro car in both the ELMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 2016 spec car, which the team will be using in the ELMS, had a successful debut last year in the FIA World Endurance Championship GTE-Pro class with the works Aston Martin Racing team taking the team and drivers’ titles with the #95 car.
The #99 car, which will be driven by Darren Turner, Andrew Howard and Ross Gunn in the ELMS campaign has now completed a successful shakedown. The full driver team for Le Mans remains subject of a further announcement.
