No 26 G-Drive Racing, Oreca 07, LMP2, Roman Rusinov, Ben Hanley, Pierre Thiriet, FIA WEC Nurburgring 2017
Jean-Eric Vergne will return to partner Roman Rusinov in G-Drive Racing’s LMP2 driver lineup next year.
 
The 28-year-old Frenchman, who helped the TDS-run squad clinch the European Le Mans Series teams’ title by winning three out of six races, signed a new contract in Rome this week.
 
A third driver will be announced at a later date but after testing its Oreca 07 Gibson at Sebring International Raceway recently, with British racer Gary Findlay and European LMP3 champion Job van Uitert both behind the wheel SCG has learned that the Dutch youngster van Uitert is most likely to gain the third seat. 
 
G-Drive is currently evaluating its options for next year, with a return to the ELMS likely along with selected appearances in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
