TF Sport has confirmed it has submitted an entry in the GTE AM category for the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship Season which kicks-off at Silverstone in September.

Having moved through the sportscar ranks with title-winning success in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and then the European Le Mans Series, the team stepped up to the WEC in this 2018/19 Super Season with the original Aston Martin Vantage V8 and for the forthcoming season will field the first generation of the ‘season-old’ Aston Martin Vantage AMR GTE.

The Super Season has been a successful one for TF Sport, with podiums in the #90 Aston Martin Vantage GTE at Spa Francorchamps, Silverstone, Fuji and again in Belgium heading to the conclusion of the current championship at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

TF Sport intends to field a single entry in the LMGTE Am class. Further details of the programme including the driver line-up will follow in due course, however as Turkish driver Salih Youlc’s official photographer has already confirmed his attendance next season we’re pretty sure Salih will lead the team again.

“It has always been our intention to continue in the FIA World Endurance Championship and we have worked hard behind the scenes to ensure that we remain at the highest level of GT racing.” said Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director. “We have high hopes that our entry will be accepted and that we can return to Silverstone in the new Aston Martin Vantage GTE.”
