31 year old Swiss driver Jonathan Hirschi has been announced as the next driver for CEFC Manor TRS Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“I’m really happy to join CEFC Manor TRS Racing for WEC this season.” said Hirschi. “After three seasons in ELMS I am really happy to be taking part in WEC and to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”
The Swiss pilot has competed in various championships from rallying, FIA GT1 series and both the Asian and European Le Mans series with 2017 marking his fifth return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans having competed in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
“We are very happy that Jonathan is joining the team for WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.” said Graeme Lowdon.
“He has a lot of experience in endurance racing including multiple visits to Le Mans so it is great to add him to our driver line up.”
