
Update: Following a post-session review, Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre have lost their GTE-Pro pole after Estre’s fastest lap was deemed by the stewards to have exceeded track limits. This means that Aston Martin are bumped up to pole and second and the #91 Porsche will start third. Porsche retained pole for GTE Am.

Porsche will start on pole in both the GTE Pro and AM categories in tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps.
The #92 911 RSR – 19 of Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen set an average lap time of 2:14.207 to take the Pro class pole. Close on their heels were the two Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTEs, the #97 of Alex Lynn and Maxime Martin finishing 0.426s behind the Porsche to claim second whilst the sister #95 car took third spot with an average of 2:14.643.

In the Am class it was a Porsche lockout of the top three positions. Christian Reid’s #77 911 RSR took the pole honours with a 2:16.519 average lap. Second and third spots on the grid will go to the Project 1 team who’s #56 car was the fastest of the two to claim second whilst the #57 took third with an average of 2:17.145.
