
Rebellion, who have been the measure by which all the other LMP1 teams have assessed themselves this week took pole for tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps thanks to Norman Nato and Gustavo Menezes who’s combined time of 1:59.577 was put them well ahead of the two Toyotas which are still carrying success ballast from the previous rounds. Lining up second and third will be the two Toyotas; Second place goes to the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid with an average 2:00.417 whist the sister car set a 2:01.070 to take third spot on the grid.

In LMP2, United Autosports returned to their ‘usual’ spot at the head of the pack with Phil Hanson and Paul di Resta setting an average time of 2:02.148. Second spot on the grid goes to the ‘Mighty 38’ of Jota whist Cool Racing rounded out the top three positions.
