The European Le Mans Series LMP2 Vice Champions, look set for a move up to the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2017.

Following a tweet from Matthieu Vaxivière, confirming that he would be joining the WEC in 2017 as part of the TDS team. The young Frenchman, currently driving for SMP Racing, will line up in an Oreca 07 with TDS Principal Xavier Combet already confirming the car’s purchase some time earlier although with no confirmation whether for ELMS or WEC.

It is understood that Vaxivière, who was spotted in the #83 AF Corse garage during last week’s WEC 6h Bahrain, will be joined in the car by newly crowned FIA Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Am drivers, François Perrodo and Emmanuel Collard.
