Brendan Hartley and Mark Webber returned to the pace-setting ways shown in the season’s Prologue by taking their #17 Porsche 919 Hybrid to a best two-lap average of  1:39.721, claiming overall pole position for Sunday’s Six Hours of Silverstone World Endurance Championship series-opener.

The #18 car took second spot setting a time just under 7/10 second slower than their sister car with the #8 Audi slotting into third on the grid with a time of 1:40.180.


The Russian backed #28 G-Drive took the LMP2 pole setting a two-lap average of 1:48.952 with second and third going to the sister #26 car and #47 KCMG respectively.
