Although no official announcement has been made, Endurance-info.com today posted details of the Philip Sinault squad’s intention to step up from the European Le Mans Series to the global FIA World Endurance Championship.

It is believed that the 2014 winning ELMS team will field an A450b-Nissan for Nelson Panciatici and Paul-Loup Chatin with Bruno Palmet, an often well-informed sports journalist for Le Maine Libre quoted as saying Vincent Capillaire will take the third seat.

The full program for the French team remains to be announced and it is yet unclear if they will continue with an entry in the ELMS as well and/or run two cars in the WEC. With a Le Mans 24 entry already offered by the ACO for winning the ELMS in 2014 and a car in the WEC it remains entirely likely however that we will see two Signatch-Alpines at le Sarthe in June though.
