Sebastien Buemi showed is pace again round the streets on Battersea after topping the final practice session ahead of qualifying this afternoon.
Buemi set the fastest time of the weekend meaning the Swiss driver was 0.263 seconds quicker than his nearest rival Loic Duval. Duval carried his pace over from free practice one setting a 1:23.905.
The top three was completed Oliver Turvey on his debut weekend. Turvey, who has showed good consistent pace all weekend set a 1:23.909.
Lucas di Grassi showed he was still in the championship hunt by setting the forth quickest time, 1:24.909.
While the Buemi and di Grassi have showed good pace on Sunday morning championship leader Piquet has struggled. The Nextev TCR driver struggling with a gear box problem meaning he could only set the sixth fastest time.
Once again driver continued to explore the limits of the 2.925km Battersea Park circuit. First to find the the limit was Mahinda’s Karun Chandhok, the Indian driver locking his breaks into turn eight leading to him hitting the wall.
Sakon Yamamoto continued to struggle, the Japanese driver outbreak himself into turn three leading to his Amlin Aguri car ending up in the barrier.
