*Simona de Silvestro will make her Formula E debut this weekend alongside Jean-Eric Vergne in the Andretti Formula E squad this weekend. The Swiss who finished 19th for Andretti at the Indy 500 will become the eighth different driver to compete for the American squad*

*Oliver Turvey will be another debutant at this weekends London ePrix when he joins Nelson Piquet in the NEXTEV TCR team. This tops off a busy month for the McLaren reserve driver who raced at the Le Mans 24 Hours with Jota Sport before flying to Thailand to race in Super GT last weekend in the Drago Modulo Honda-entered NSX Concept GT.*

*Turvey’s team mate and championship leader Nelson Piquet Jr has signed a multi year deal with the NEXTEV TCR team ahead of this weekend’s ePrix in London. The Brazilian who has already claimed two wins for the team this year (Long Beach and Moscow) has a 17 point advantage with two races left.

*It’s been a busy month for the NEXTEV TCR squad, along with signing up Piquet on a long term deal the team have been busy testing their season-two power train for the first time. The team released a video of factory Corvette driver, Antonio Garcia testing the car earlier this week*

*Mahindra have also tested been testing their new power train this week. The M2Electro as it will be known was tested by Bruno Senna at Dunsfold Park the home of BBC 2’s Tope Gear*

*Virgin Racing have scheduled a press conference for 2:00pm on Saturday afternoon. The British squad are expected to announce their plans for next season which is expected to include an tie up with a major manufacture*

*The British squad were dealt a late blow this week when Jamie Alguersuari was forced to pull out of the final two rounds of the season with health problems. The Spaniard fainted due to dehydration and extreme exhaustion after the Moscow ePrix and has since had his license is temporarily suspended. Manor F1 reserve driver Fabio Limer will take his place.*

*Trulli GP have announced that Alex Fontana will replace Vitantonio Luzzi for the final race weekend of the season. Fontanna the former F3 open champion and current GP3 racer will fill in for Luzzi who’s on Super GT duty.
