The British GT eSports Championships returns to TORA for its third full season in April with an exciting calendar and strong mix of GT3 and GT4 machinery exclusively to Forza Motorsport 6.

The 2017 championship builds upon the success of the Winter Series that took place in the closing stages of 2016 extending the number of races from six to fourteen. The calendar utilises all of the British GT venues currently available in-game plus a number of new circuits that will provide challenging racing for competitors.

“I was really pleased at how popular the Winter Series proved to be and it cemented our decision to bring British GT to Forza Motorsport 6 in what is TORA’s tenth anniversary year.” said TORA President Matt Hunter.

“The added bonus of Forza’s excellent livery editor means that teams can really build their presence in the championship”

The British GT Winter Series afforded the organisers the opportunity to represent the real world championship even more accurately with replica graphics now a requirement for all competitors leading to a highly realistic looking grid.

The Winter Series also saw the introduction of video highlights with commentary from Ben Constanduros. 2017 will see the British GT eSports Championship benefit from live coverage courtesy of YMTV along with the traditional race reports and galleries from each round produced by TORA’s media team. This will also be supplemented by coverage on radiolemans.com throughout the year.

The 2017 British GT eSports Championship commences on 2nd April with rounds 1&2 hosted at the Virginia International Raceway.
