Krohn Racing has been invited to participate with its Ferrari F458 Italia in GTE-Am in this years 24 hours of Le Mans to replace the recently confirmed withdrawal of Strakka Racing.
Krohn Racing was originally the fifth and final GTE reserve entry, under the Risi Competizione banner, but pulled out in February due to what appeared to be an extremely slim chance of getting a confirmed place on the grid. but due to the incredible nine withdraws over the past few months the ACO were forced to invite the US base squad to participate.
Joining team owner Tracy Krohn and regular driving partner of Nic Jonsson whom will be making their ninth appearance together is non other than Top Gears second Stig Ben Collins.
With only a couple of week to go until the chequered flag is waved by Fernando Alonso to signal the start of the race (see previous articles for more information on this) the team have a lot of preparation work to do.
