Jean Glorieux has taken pole for Sunday’s two-hour Michelin Le Mans Cup race. The Belgian ace stormed to the top of the table in his #3 DKR ENGINEERING Norma setting a 1:41.412, 1.385 seconds ahead of the Neilson Racing Ligier of Anthony Wells. Third spot on tomorrow’s grid goes to Eric Trouillet in the #39 Graff Racing Ligier with a time of 1:42.940.
In the GT3 class, Remon Vos took his first pole position for Ram Racing in the #5 Mercedes AMG GT3. The Dutchman set an impressive 1:46.031 early on and held it throughout the session. Emanuele Busnelli took second spot on the grid in the #46 EBIMOTORS Lamborghini Huracan GT3 a mere 0.255s behind Vos. Third spot for Sunday’s two hour race went to Lee Mowle who took his self-named #7 Mercedes AMG GT3 to a best lap time of 1:46.781.
