Following the announcement last week made by United Autosports to run an Oreca chassis for Phil Hanson in the World Endurance Championship, Ligier Automotive has had an enormous ‘dummy-spit’ and terminated its exclusive distribution agreement in the United Kingdom with United Autosports and has taken back direct control of the distribution of its racing cars in this territory from 1st August 2019.

United Autosports has been the face of Ligier UK since 2016 and has represented the French manufacturer in the United Kingdom, handled the distribution and the after-sales service of Ligier racing cars.

“We would like to thank Zak Brown and Richard Dean and the whole United Autosports team for this three-year partnership.” said Jacques Nicolet, Ligier Automotive President. “Our ways are parting concerning the distribution of Ligier products, but as a racing car constructor we will continue to accompany and support United Autosports and their Ligiers as we do for all the other race teams.”
