Cool Racing’s 16 year old wonder-kid Antoine Doquin took pole position for today’s inaugural race in the 2021 Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Doquin took his #37 Ligier JS P320 – Nissan to a 1:40.803 on lap 4, +0.146s ahead of  the #5 Phoenix Racing car. Phoenix’s second car, the #11 WTM Powered by Phoenix will line up third.

In the GT3 class, Rino Mastronardi will line up on pole position after setting a 1:45.571 in his #8 Ferrari 488 GT3. The #2 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Nicolas Leutwiler and Julien Andlauer starts second with Mastronardi’s “Iron Dames” teammates Doriane Pin and Manuela Gostner taking third spot on the grid.
