United Autosports once again topped the timing sheets in today’s second Michelin Le Mans Cup test session, however this time it was Andy Meyrick setting the pace in the #24 Ligier JS P320 he shares with Daniel Schneider. Meyrick set a time of 1:48.528 just two thousandth’s of a second ahead of Bruce Jouanny in the #27 MV2S Racing Ligier. Third spot went to Motorsport98 with Eric De Doncker setting a 1:48.854 lap to give Ligier a clean sweep of the top three positions.
Ferrari once again took the top six spots in the afternoon session with Paolo Ruberti in the #67 Kessel Racing car taking honours of the fastest time with a 1:53.383. David Perel brought the sister #74 car in 0.485 seconds behind to claim second whilst with a time of 1:53.935 Giacomo Piccini claimed third for the #8 Iron Lynx car. The IDEC Sport Mercedes was again seventh and the Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche did not run.
