As we all begin to get our ‘race faces’ on, United Autosports’ Andy Meyrick set the morning’s fastest time in the first practice for the Michelin Le Mans Cup season opener. The Briton set a 1:48.709 on his final lap putting him 0.214s in front of Dino Lunardi in the 98 Motorsport Ligier JS P320. DKR Engineering’s Laurents Hörr took third spot clocking in a 1:48.939 in his Duqueine M30 D08.

In the GT3 class it was a Ferrari top three with just over 0.2s separating first to third. Top of the pile was Paolo Ruberti who set a 1:53.935 lap in the #67 Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GT3. Just a fraction behind (0.098s) him was teammate David Perel in the #74. Third spot went to the #8 Iron Lynx 488 with Giacomo Piccini set a 1:54.150. Agter a troubled test day yesterday Julien Andlauer put the #2 Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche 911 GT3 R into fourth place. The #17 IDEC Sport Mercedes AMG GT3 did not run.
